Surprise, surprise!

My brother, Tim, called me this morning and he and Mika and Elijah are coming for the weekend! He tried so hard to come to visit during his Spring Break, but Mika was sick. It will be so nice to see them and have them all to myself. Elijah is 3 1/2 years old already.

I'm a little tired today so I'll just rest up before my company comes.

It was Hannah and Adam's last day of school yesterday and they could go home after lunch if someone came for them. Adam told me he wanted to spend the whole day at school, but Hannah was excited to have me pick her up. So I got a burrito at Taco Bell for her and sat outside with her while she ate. I brought her to my house--but before we got home we did a little shopping at Target. It was really fun. Hannah's last day of elementary school.

Hope you have a good weekend. Thank you for your prayers. Love, Julie

Hi, Julie-
I was eating some walnuts yesterday, and thinking of your mom and dad and the rest of your wonderful family. I'm glad you're having such a run of visitors! We had a cool family event last weekend: Craig's son, Chad, got married in an outdoor event in Needy at his wife's grandparents' house. They met at 91 grade school in the 5th grade. Craig and Chad welded a giant barbecue thing to roast a pig that was as big as a car (the barbecue, not the pig!). It was fun, and our whole family was there except for Chris -- who lives in Las Vegas and couldn't get away. Please say hello to your family from ours. I hope you're feeling more energetic, and can enjoy the beautiful weather! We'll all keep praying for you!
Love, Cindy

Dear Julie,
Today I finally got your blog address from Patty and have just spent the last hour reading everything and following your journey. You are one tough cookie with a huge support circle/team showering you with love and faith and expertise.
I was sorry to miss your retirement party(I heard it was great), and I was in CA.
I am wishing you strength and peace and the ability to find the gift in each day.
Love you, Bridget
When would be a good time to visit? A hug for Greg too.
