Off to the wedding!

We are so excited about Betsy and Cameron's wedding in Seattle this weekend! It will be a fun and relaxed celebration with lots of family and friends. It will take place in a beautiful private park right on Puget Sound. It's amazing that Betsy and Cam have been together since they were sixteen! Cameron has seemed like a member of our family for a long time.

I'm so thankful that I feel so healthy at this special time! I'm grateful for my sister in law, Kathy, because she is coming to help me take care of details that come up. There's always something...

Thank you for your prayers. I appreciate all of you so much! Love, Julie

Julie,
Well, I just wrote the longest blog...and lost it! Hmmm...and I think mom & dad are inept at this thing.
So, I'll try to recreate it. I hope you guys are having the absolute best time ever at Betsy's wedding and that Kathy is helping you save your energy to truly ENJOY this precious time with family & friends. Of course, as I recall, you and Kathy were always able to run circles around us.
I've been checking out the comments, and it is so neat to hear from relatives that you haven't seen in years.
David reminded me about those Christmas get togethers with you seated at the piano, and the rest of the crew gathered around singing at the top of their lungs. I remember sitting on the bench while you practiced in absolute awe, knowing that you had a God given talent to compose, play, sing and share that gift with the rest of us.
And like Deb, I also had several friends that have recently gone through cancer. The one thing they agreed on that was most helpful through this "ordeal" was having the support system that allowed them to express exactly how they felt on any given day. The ones that looked past the bald head, the ugly hateful words, the sleeping 24 hrs., the uncontrollable laughter over nothing, the cries of pain...those that could hold their hand, pray, and see the person inside that God created, and just BE THERE.
We are there Julie. Thank you for this blog and allowing us to be there for your support, prayer, and ultimate healing.

Love and prayers daily,
Jeanne (Camp) Lewis
